Original artwork, existing only as a physical Oil painting on canvas.
This painting was a collaboration with my daughter. Exploring art with her that isn’t necessarily representing real life.
Abstract art may not seem to be portraying a picture at all but, instead, creating an atmosphere.
Contrast is an element of art that I really appreciate and try to apply to all of my works. In this painting we used a limited palette building contrast with different values.
This artwork has the appearance of expressive painting while being tightly constrained by geometry at the same time.
Painted using a combination of palette knives, brush strokes and my beautiful daughter!
